Each of the 15 MERLOT Editorial Board (discipline communities) has a separate web portal within MERLOT. The portals are customized around the Professional Community of Practice Needs. Community portals feature(1) Tips for Teachinging in the discipline using the e-learning resources of the discipline, (2) People, for how to join and learn more about the Community of Practice, (3) browse the learning materials of the Community, (4) Beyond MERLOT, offering relevant links to sites relevant to the Community and (5), Community showcases, with recent Award winners. MERLOT Classics Awards - Each year the Editorial Boards select and recognize a learning material that is an example of a high quality learning resource.
